Anyone who can receive a waxing treatment is generally a candidate for this service. This treatment is suitable for men and women of all hair types, skin types, and skin tones, and can be used on all areas of the body. It can also be used over tattoos with no risk of pigmentation changes or damage. The formulation is hypoallergenic, safe for all ages, and there are no known side effects.

This treatment is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those with skin cancer or other forms of cancer, or anyone who is contraindicated to waxing.

Like laser hair removal, this treatment requires a series of sessions to achieve noticeable reduction. Most areas require 8–12 treatments. Results vary because hair grows in cycles, and only about 15 percent of hair is in the active growth stage at any time. On average, there are approximately 1,500 hair follicles per square inch.

Most clients schedule treatments every four weeks for best results. If you experience fast-growing or hormonally influenced facial hair, more frequent treatments may be needed.

Laser hair removal relies on contrast between skin tone and hair color, meaning it works best on light skin with dark hair. Laser treatments are not effective on blonde or light-colored hair and carry a higher risk of burns for individuals with darker skin tones.
